‘To move toward a cleaner energy economy, we must improve our nation’s electrical grid, as well as construct the transmission infrastruct re needed to connect renewable energy facilities to cities and regions with high power demand. The project will be ready by the first quarter of 2018. Source ... www.sunnewsonline.com...29th December 2017

Patriot Solar Group (PSG) operates as a racking manufacturing company in the solar industry. The company has seen continuous growth over the past few years. PSG is focused on the solar racking industry, off-grid applications and solar tracking, where recent market shifts have presented significant revenue opportunities that were previously unavailable. The goal at PSG is to achieve a stable presence in the market with its own line of products and services. In order to pursue such an ambition, the company works with developers, EPC’s and distribution partners. Doing this allows PSG to create, produce and bring to the market innovative products through traditional and modern distribution channels. PSG understands and emphasizes the importance of adding value at the development-production cycles by utilizing the latest hardware, software, talent and a genuine understanding of the product development framework.

Borrego Solar was established in 1980 by Dr. James Rickard, a San Diego State University Professor of astrophysics who lived in the town around the Anza-Borrego Desert State Park just east of San Diego, California. This is where the name “Borrego Solar” comes from. In 2001, Borrego Solar’s focus shifted towards grid-tied solar installations for homeowners and small businesses. The company moved to the San Diego metropolitan area where it steadily grew its customer base in Southern California and eventually expanded to Berkeley in Northern California. As the two California offices of Borrego Solar raced to keep up with the demand for residential clean energy solutions, other states with notoriously high energy costs—like Massachusetts—seemed to take notice. In 2007, the New England branch of Borrego Solar opened just outside of Boston, Massachusetts, and the mission to accelerate the adoption of solar energy continued on the east coast. A few years later, the organization’s strategic direction changed with the decision to focus 100% of its resources on the commercial and utility markets. By focusing on larger scale projects, Borrego Solar was able to make a greater impact on the environment and the communities it serves by moving from installing kilowatts to Megawatts.

As a leading global specialist for photovoltaic system technology, SMA is setting the standards today for the decentralized and renewable energy supply of tomorrow. More than 3,000 SMA employees in 20 countries have devoted themselves to this task. Our innovative solutions for all photovoltaic applications and our unsurpassed service offer our customers worldwide greater independence in meeting their energy needs. Intelligent System Technology for Greater Independence People living in industrialized countries are using intelligent SMA technology to transform their houses into smart homes. By integrating storage systems, the electricity generated from rooftop systems can be used in the evening as well. Industrial and commercial companies are installing PV systems, together with our highly efficient inverters, on their buildings to reduce operating costs by producing cost-efficient solar power.

In newly industrialized countries with high levels of solar irradiation, large PV power plants equipped with SMA system technology are providing more and more people with rapid access to a sustainable and inexpensive electricity supply – and thereby to greater prosperity and economic development. Industrial consumers who struggle with regular power outages or who have no access to the utility grid at all are no longer dependent on expensive diesel fuel for a reliable and uninterrupted electricity supply. With the SMA Fuel Save Solution, they can turn their diesel generators into photovoltaic diesel hybrid systems, thus saving money and reducing CO2 emissions. Comprehensive Service for Affordable Operation Even after the PV systems are commissioned, our customers worldwide can rely on SMA and our comprehensive range of services, which ensure that their photovoltaic systems are operating cost efficiently at all times. For over 30 years, SMA has helped hundreds of thousands of people and companies produce and consume energy independently according to their individual needs. In collaboration with our customers and partners, we are helping the people around the world transition to a self-sufficient and decentralized energy supply.

Our aim is to generate energy for the future. Solar power remains the most secure source of energy for the future. We set global standards in achieving this goal.
